The Experience

Have you ever wondered what it would have been like to stand next to Degas while he experimented with an array of techniques in his studio? With today’s leading technology and innovative master artists, we can make this a reality. 360ArtProject strives to educate a future generation of artists, art enthusiasts, and art historians by immersing them in a unique and educational experience.

Artist Involvement

360ArtProject is seeking master artists to allow us into their intimate space or studio to capture the unique process of creating timeless masterpieces of art. During the production, we will ask a predefined set of questions and will only require a few hours of time to capture the experience on camera.

360° Video Immersion

You’ve probably heard of or seen a new type of video that offers viewers the opportunity to explore a video in 360-degrees with their mouse or mobile device. You can even put a headset on and look around in all directions. This medium is called spherical video and two popular categories are “360-degree video”(360) and “virtual reality” (VR).

360 and VR were created with the intention that viewers interact with and experience the content, instead of just sitting back to watch. They offer an immersive view that lets each person choose where to look.

Once produced, the video content will always be available to the public via popular social media sites like YouTube and Facebook, and granted to the national archives for preservation. The goal for the future is to build a curated experience for museums to showcase artists featured in videos with real pieces of work along with the immersive experiential experience. Capturing this process at the highest available quality will ensure this content lasts and can be utilized not just with the technology of today but also with viewing technology still to be developed.

We hope to establish ourselves as a 501c3 as the project continues to grow. Currently, the project will be produced under the guidance of Cimaglia Productions which has worked in the past with several educational and charitable organizations including the Art Institute of Chicago and has a strong understanding of art preservation and culture.

“Virtual reality was once the dream of science fiction. But the internet was also once a dream, and so were computers and smartphones. The future is coming.”
